i2 Analyst’s Notebook version 10.1.0 has the following new and updated features:
- Updated user interface – the user interface has been refreshed with an updated ribbon toolbar and a new color scheme.
- High quality attribute symbols – attribute symbols have been upgraded with high quality images and additional new symbols.
- Improved Icon selector – a new icon picker is available for chart and attribute icons, grouped by category for easier selection; users can also search for icons by providing a search term.
iBase (version 10.1.0) – release highlights:
- Entra ID single sign-on
iBase 10 single sign-on adds support for Microsoft’s Entra ID access management system, in addition to Windows Active Directory. If transitioning from Windows Active Directory to Entra ID iBase can work in “Mixed Mode” to authenticate against the currently available system.
- The issues that have been fixed in this release, and known issues.

– Support for printing maps directly from the Analyst’s Notebook web client
– Support for downloading web chart contents in Microsoft Excel format
– Support for custom item and property types to the web client
– Options for changing the appearance of charts in the web client
– Improves the user experience around editing Visual Queries and import specifications
- i2 Analyze 4.4.5 – Export group membership from admin UI
- Updates for i2 TextChart (Rosoka) 10.1.0
To ensure compatibility, i2 recommends that the i2 Analyst’s Notebook desktop client and i2 Analyze server are upgraded to the latest versions at the same time.
i2 do not support mixed version deployments, but to assist with larger deployment upgrades it is possible to use the i2 Analyst’s Notebook desktop client or an i2 Analyze server from a previous version with the corresponding latest versions in this release, however some functionality might not be available in these configurations.
